2000 Purebred Registered Canadian Mare by Cartrs Blackjack Gordon and out of Du Coteau Brigadier Greta.  Katie is currently being ridden and shown by my 13 year old daughter Kiera and is Kiera's 4H Project Horse for 2009/2010.  This is Kiera and Katie's first year showing and it's started off with great success!  We understand the importance of breeding to quality mares and Katie is prooving that she is definately worth her weight in gold!  Her new show career will put off her breeding career for a year or two but we are more then okay with that as she is such a pleasure to ride!

2003 Purebred Canadian Mare by Cartrs Blackjack Gordon and out of Du Coteau Brigadier Greta and full sister to Katie.  Nitro is confirmed in foal to our Friesian Stallion Willem Alexander for a May 2011 foal!  I've been riding Nitro this year and she is turning out to be quite the fast learner!  We have committed ourselves this year to the Prairie Rose Lighthorse 4H Club and I currently use Nitro in the Cloverleaf Drill Team which is a group of 4H parents that have come together to help promote and support our club!  The Cloverleafs had their first performance at the Valleyview Horse Show in June 2010 and have two more performances scheduled at the Valleyview Rodeo in August 2010.  After this summers performances Nitro will be lightly ridden but her being bred will give me time to work and train our Purebred Friesian filly Anna to get her ready for her debut next year!

2008 FHANA Friesian Filly (TsjerkxTeunis).  We feel very fortunate to have found Anna this spring and she is a welcome additon to our farm.  Anna was imported in utero to Canada and has impecable breeding.  She is turning out to be a gorgeous TALL filly already standing 15.3HH and still growing!  We will be taking Anna for her 3 year old inspection in 2011 for her studbook and star.  I look forward to entering into the world of purebred FHANA friesians and inspections and I have BIG plans for this girl!

"Tsjerk is the approved son of Feitse 293 Preferent and has 4 approved sons.  He has recently been awarded a Preferent stallion himself.

He produces over 53.3% ster daughters.  Tsjerk, like his sire has always received 1^st premiums.  He is considered to be an honest and hard working stallion with good ability for dressage and driving.

Tsjerk also boasts an impressive Dam line.  Wijkje Model Preferent Prestige (performance mare) is the producer of another approved son, Djurre 284, and 3 Model mares and 6 ster daughters!

He is a very modern type Friesian who stamps all his progeny with noble heads.  Many 1^st premiums have been granted to offspring of Tsjerk.  He is a proven producer of many champion dressage and driving Friesians and consistently produces foals with very correct Friesian exterior attributes and excellent paces". 

Anna's Dam sire Teunis (sire of the well known approved stallion Nanning 374) is deceased and there are very few of Teunis' offspring in North America.  Teunis was a tremendous assest to the breed and was known for passing on height and his offspring are very desirable and a wanted commodity.
